Coming off of the fishing season, I was itching to do some climbing in the Cascades. Not knowing any climbers in the area, I put out my feelers. Eventually, I hooked up with a friend of a friend of a friend. She ended up being a crusher and we made a great team. She helped me regain my land-legs by keeping an intense pace on the approach. And I helped her by leading the climb. We were moving really well as we passed all six parties ahead of us in a sixteen-hour, single push!
